I currently have a 60gb PS3 and want to swap it out for a larger one. I understand that 320gb is the largest 2.5" 5400rpm HDD you can currently get, my question is, does anyone know the cheapest place to get one from??

try aria.co.uk they do superspecial deals and have found them the cheapest by far......remember you need to format it to FAT 32 for it to work on the PS3 so will need a special program to do this as Xp and vista don't format harddrives over 32GB if i rememberIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -

The PS3 will format the drive
You'll need a SATA drive, preferrably 5400rpm0 -
Cool, thanks. The cheapest 320gb 5400rpm SATA drive aria have is for £61, is that about as cheap as they come?0

That drive won't work, it needs to be a 2.5" drive with a speed of 5400rpm.0 -
my mistake forgot it has to be 2.5 but it doesn't need to be 5400 you can use 7200 without problems i know because mine is running oneIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
