Wish I could help but I am not big on the meat cooking side.

I'm sure that someone will be along soon to offer advice.

I suspect that you will be OK though just popping the roast into the 'Moska', perhaps on the rack if you have one, and cooking as you would in your oven. Things tend to take the same time or a little less.

Adding the roasties about an hour from the end sounds right too.

Hope it works well. Do let us know.

    Sunnyday,
Lakeland are brilliant to deal with. I would say that thye are the best firm I have ever dealt with.
Don't worry about ringing them. They will be very helpful.
I also did the "but I saw it at £79.99" line when I got a Remoska for my dad last week and had no problems with them honouring that price.

  • On their website it says temperature between 190 - 220 degrees but other sites say it has no variable temp control. So which is correct??

Also, I believe the Bravoska does have a variable temp control?? Can anyone who's used one actually confirm this please?

    Thanks...Celine
  • Where can I buy a Bravoska or does anyone know of any links where I can find a demo on it?? Or anywhere where I can easily compare it to the Remoska??

    Thanks again...Celine
  • Rice in the separator pan and a couple of good sausages cut up and cooked in tomato sauce with shallots, garlic and parsley

    Yum!

    Sounds lovely
How exactly did you do the rice in the divider?
    Quantities/time etc?
I love my rice cooker but if I could do it all in the 'Moska' that would be brilliant

    Hi Celine,
There is NO temp control on the Remoska - just an on/off switch.

Never heard of a Bravoska so can't help with that, I'm afraid.

  • I just followed the rules for my rice cooker - 2 measures of water to 1 rice. Was only cooking for myself so half a cup of rice made a generous portion, and I used boiling water from the kettle. Took 40 mins to get very nice fluffy rice, and there was plenty of sauce in the sausage dish, so it was no trouble to keep them both going till the rice was ready. The rice would have cooked more quickly in my steamer but makes more sense to do them together.

Yesterday I baked HM rolls in my Moski: :T
Then I cooked some bacon and fried an egg in it too so we had bacon and egg baps for lunch! :)

Today I cooked a pork joint and potatoes in it.
Think the potatoes could have done with a tad longer as we like them extra crispy, but not bad for my first attempt at a roast in my Moski. Hubby loved the pork crackling.

Looking forward to hearing what you've all been up to with it! :D
