T-Mobile Query

Hi guys,
Haven't posted in this section before so I hope this is an appropriate qs!
I am with T-Mobile PAYG and have been for many years. This is partly laziness and partly because I find contracts extremely confusing and my usage varies greatly from week to week.
However T-Mobile have been making various changes to PAYG, none very good, and I'm beginning to feel a bit put out.
In order to make an informed decision I would like my call history. Is it possible to retrieve this from them? (I've signed up online but it only lists my very recent history and I'd like to go back about a year) and also to find out when I actually registered my sim card (to find out how long I've been a loyal T-Mobile customer).
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!

Phone up and ask. At the worst, you could lodge a subject access request (SAR) under the Data Protection Act, where you pay £10 and they have to turn over all information they have about you.0

If yo are spending on average £15 per month, it would be advsable to get a contract. It is possible to sign up for a 30 day rolling contract, which most companies are currently doing.
From personal experience T MOBILE ARE A WASTE OF SPACE.
The network signal is very poor as is their customer retentions. Also, i have been a customer for 10 years on contract and they are offering better deals to new customers than I have been offered for my upgrade.
The pay as you go has also gone up - for example, mates rates was previously 5p per minute to other t mobile customers, and that was increased to 8p per minute - an increase of 60%.
If you would like any help moving to a different netwotk, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. My sole aim in life is to help as many people LEAVE T MOBILE AS POSSIBLE..... (1 so far - myself - and counting)...0 -
Hi
You can call and ask for info on your call records, but to be honest they only keep a record of around the last 3 months at most.I accept no liability if you chose to rely on my advice.0 -
You can ask for a SAR - I bet you they have no idea what one is though.
Have tried before on a business contract where despite several phone calls all they could ever do is recommend signing up to some online analyser which wasnt able to show any calls made before signing up.
They should have details of your calls, it's probably a legal requirement.matched betting: £879.63

Thanks for all the advice.
Where would it be stated if phone companies had to retain records? Is there any kind of similar body to the financial ombudsman that applies to telephones?0 -

T-Mobile are members of CISAS but I don't think that's relevant to your query, really.0
