I know many phones have mp3 players etc. but from what I have seen on Kelkoo, amazon etc. there isn't much storage!
Are there phones around that have around the 1gb capacity? Any help would be brilliant!

Hi uptheblades,
I have moved your thread over to the mobile phone board where hopefully you will get more replies.

Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. I don't know of any phones that have that sort of memory and my guess is that if they do exist they will be expensive. The biggest consumer phone I know is the Samsung D500 has 80mb but some of this is reserved for other use.
There are a number of phones that take memory cards, and that would probably be your best bet, but because the cards tend to be the micro format they are more expensive and the biggest transflash card I have seen is 512mb.
Personally I'd recommend keeping the two separate, for the cost of the 512mb transflash card you could buy yourself a 512mb mp3 player.0 -
i would also recommend seperates, but the nokia 6230 can take a 1gig mmc card and play mp3 although the sound quality wont be upto an mp3 player0

This thread here and the comments about the Sony k750i might help.
Software upgradable to the same mp3 player software on as on the w800i and upgraded with a nice big mmc card.
