Friend keeps getting sent jokes to her mobile phone from the number 81551.These jokes are costing her every time she receives one and she has no idea how it started or how to stop it.anyone any idea how to stop this ridiculous service, her daughter may be to blame for signing up to it originally as she borrows the phone occasionally but claims she has never signed up to anything knowingly. Thanks in advance.

usually these 'services' can be sorted out by texting 'STOP' back to the number - that should deal with most legit ones - otherwise try googling the name of the company and seeing if anyone else has had similar problems and solutions.

  • Tried the stop reply to no avail,I'm in the process of googling it now but it's turning out to be a bit of a wild goosechase.
  • Try Stop All But There Is A Website You Can Complain Too I'll Try Find It And Post It Back.

Either That Contact The Network Ask Them To Bar It

If you go into an Orange store, we have a link on out tills that you enter the number, say 81551, and it will bring up lots if info, contact number, complaints address, how to stop etc, so if your near one of them, drop in and pretend to be Orange
