Broadband for the grandparents

My grandparents are having an old computer of ours, and we're wondering what broadband would be best. They have extremely limited requirements and won't require very much in the way of usage. They just need pretty bog standard wireless broadband.

What is the cheapest you can get?

I dont know about the cheapest but i would certainly reccomend virgin media, never had any problems and it rarely if ever cuts off.

its £9 a month for 12 months at the moment aswell so its quite cheap

I assume you mean VM cable, I have this and only had one "out" in14mths, due to a major network fault.

If cable is not available, O2 is getting good reviews, but not available everywhere.

I've heard Plusnet are O.K. for light users, at least in this area.
    Move along, nothing to see.
  • If you've got an O2 mobile, you can get broadband for 7.50 a month (which I have)

Better than my old broadband from BT (which cost me 24 a month). Amazing uk based 24hr customer support.. best broadband supplier i've known.
