    Note the leisure select (which is a 1st class ticket) is £5 cheaper than a standard ticket for the 09.09 departure from Waterloo on a Saturday.

    Thanks again for that info - only trouble is, we got our eurostar tickets via Tesco clubcard points so I don't think the tickets are transferrable or upgradable, although I will check when we get to waterloo.

    It is in fact the 9:09 train we are getting Saturday morning so it would be fab to get an upgrade.

    This is definitely a moneysavers weekend - a free hotel Friday night, free eurostar travel, I've found the thread where you can get £10 off train tickets as well. The only thing we've had to pay for is the hotel in Paris which isn't too bad.

    Now, if I could just get a free meal on Saturday night, we would be sorted! ;-)
