Canon Cartridges Thread

I have used choicestationery for my Canon printer without any problem. Now I use ebuyer for their inkrite brand of cartridges. Quality-wise they are equivalent, but ebuyer is cheaper. Prints colour and mono ok, but black prints on copier paper smudge if wet, unlike the original Canon ink. My photo prints are also acceptable quality.0

I had a reply from http://www.choicestationery.com/acatalog/Canon_Pixma_iP5000_.html
They have replaced the duff cartridges so will see how it goes. Still a mystery though!0 -
Jettec ink cartridges are the best quality compatible ink cartridge for canon printers they are the only compatible cartridge that is british made. they can be found here

Very strongly disagree there, they have blocked mine and many other peoples Canon printers
But if you do want Jet Tec https://www.svp.co.uk sell them alot cheaper around £1.80 each compared to the link above that work out at £3.19 each (based on ip4000)0 -
JetTec cartridges aren't the best for Canon imho - think they lack the optical prism so the printer can't tell when empty - have heard of them blocking up easily as well. They do have a rep for being good for HP/Lexmark carts though.
I like Prink carts - currently using https://www.everythingink.co.ukNeil0 -
North Devon Computers - very cheap + excellent service.
Have never had any problems with quality of cartridges. very highly recommended.
IIRC an full set of carts for my IP3000 were £3.95

I disagree, the last lot I had for my S330 were rubbish, i need a new print head now - Avoid like the plague unless you want a wrecked printer.0 -
