does anybody know why a property that was sold in 2003 would not be showing on the land registry search?

why are repossessions treated in a different way to other property sales ? they still have to be registered with the land registry0

From the landreg site you can follow the process to buy a copy of the deeds. Before you get to the pay now stage, it should tell you when they were last updated and if the price information is held.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm not sure if you can - it's just the basic register that places like www.houseprices.co.uk buy and repackage... I knew a flipper who was quite careful to do the sale in a certain way because people aren't too keen to pay £100k for some magnolia paint....is there a fee for inspecting the business register ?0
