the property I bought as a repossession doesn't show on the sites like houseprices etc. You can buy the deeds for £3, but in the section for price it states 'no price information held'It's a health benefit ...0

Agreed, kind of. I thought it was the status of the property, rather than the seller/buyer. So a commercial property e.g. shop, office, pub, business unit etc is not shown.

thanks for the replys
the sale that isn't showing was a house
but it was sold to one of those companies that advertise to buy peoples property

Yep sold to a business so not on the residential list, same happens to a lot of houses rented out if the BTL LL holds them within a company...0 -

No it's not the type - it can be the nature of the holder i.e. if a building company buys it to do up probably not on residential list but if a builder doing it up in own name probably like a normal sale...0 -
That's strange.I've just looked up my last house,a normal sale to a residential family and it does'nt hold details for it.My purchase which is just around the corner and took place on the same day is there, but no registration for my old house.I wonder why?.0

I think each month new data is added to the system and only every 6 months is a full data dump done. I've often noticed properties not appearing for months, then suddenly a whole lot of missing data arrives. I don't think the monthly add--on is that thorough.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
