    Hi donny osmonds mad fan,

Thanks for your reply and information, I have a feeling we may have found a better price than he has because, when he asked what price we normally pay and what price we can get now he just went quiet, when asked what he paid the reply was "oh I cannot tell you that because of the privacy of the Pilot". Now I don't know anything about the Pilot, I don't know his name where he lives or anything, so why not just tell the truth what he paid, it's like I said above he will tell lies over a few pence!

    Holiday Bob.

my dad is retired BA staff and there is a friends and family discount line which is advertised in the ba staff newspaper, now from past experience of trying this you will get cheaper flights from the likes of airline network etc I think it tends to be discounted from higher fare prices or something, either way whilst they may be very slightly cheaper than what you can maybe get on the ba site but from personal experience it wasnt worth it...far as i know it is just a phone line number to ring....and nothing super special lol

    Hi qwerty123456,

Thanks for the information about the Hotline fares, so on average you will get around 10%. Now if you or anyone else can spent the time what sort of price could one be looking at for a return fare to Hong Kong in September for 11th to 16th?

Thanks for for your time and thanks again to all the other people who took the time to reply.

    Holiday Bob.

The pilot is talking about Hotline fares. Its 10% off all BA published fares with some tactical discounts, for example last summer, Bermuda was £499 in Club class on Hotline (normally around £4000).

Why not look on the BA website for details of the latest fares, or somewhere like Kayak or Opodo to see how the costs of other carriers compare?
  • just noticed that i had a typo...I should have said you will generally NOT get them cheaper than the likes of airline network etc.....

when we have tried they have still been coming up as more expensive than what u can get online with other cheaper flight ticket websites etc
