2 days later and still no phone call - didn't get in until 7:45 tonight but no missed calls, no messages etc

This is a joke - why can't they just tell me why the case was transferred and update me on my case?

Falkirk said that Belfast were "not doing their job properly", which doesn't help me but it was good to hear a bit of !!!!!ing

my guess is that they don't know the answer to my question - they NEVER call me back when I have asked

Time to go through the email system I think.......

This reminds me of a time after massive frustrations (no returned phone calls for about about 2 years of constant chasing), I looked up the name of the MD in the Belfast section. Then phoned up CSA switchboard, asked the name of Snr Manager's secretary and fax number. Then made separate phone call day later, asking to speak to "Betty" (not real name). When I got through, I said "Hi Betty, how are you? Is "Mike" (not real name) in today, or is he on the golf course again, ha-ha, it's Ceebeeby here, just phoning for a catch-up?" Instantly transferred to Mike ....!
Amazingly enough, after very frank and friendly conversation with Mike case was resolved within 2 weeks and 4 years back-pay came shortly after!!!!!

Whilst away on holiday I received a letter from Falkirk to advise that the ex has to pay arrears. Fair enough, but what about the reassessment I asked for way back in May?

I phoned Falkirk only to be told that this was a Belfast case - as usual my caseworker wasn't there and the operator couldn't answer any of my questions which I find quite worrying because what would happen if my caseworker went on long term sick?

Falkirk gave me the full name of the caseworker in Belfast.

Anyway, I phoned Belfast who informed me that the person in question wasn't there (why wasn't I surprised?). Belfast were still convinced that this was a Falkirk case. Both offices are bemused as to why my case has been transferred.

Kellogs - can you help me at all please?

Managed to find time at work to call Belfast - was informed that the case was probably transferred due to a 'linked case', which I guess means that my ex has recently had another claim against him.

Anyway, a very helpful Brian informed me that the information from HMRC came back as similar earnings to the previous year (how convenient). I was advised not to pursue a reassessment as it would not be in my best interests because his earnings would fall under the £200 a week bracket.

I'm now just another statistic, a PWC with a SE NRP who is screwing the system in order to pay less money to his child.

I've asked for a Variation Form but unless I take on the services of a Private Investigator I am unable to prove anything about his lifestyle as I am over 250 miles away from him.

My daughter is spending the week with him next week - I wish I could ask her to take photographic evidence etc but I know it's morally wrong and I couldn't ask her to do that :naughty:

    Hey Loopy :hello:

same boat with no engine, paddles or sails (and a hole in the bottom too)!

It's just so frustrating - especially when he paid £23 to me and £100 birthday money to our daughter last week without moaning, but claims he only brings home £200.

So, it's back to the drawing board - I await the Variation Form (god knows what that entails)
