Under no cercumstances give them details of your income, its your husbands debt now, as tiger points out due to your BR, so your income is non of there buisness, they will probebly ask though but tell them to get stuffed, they have no right to ask.Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

So far nothing has been paid towards this debt as I have requested giro slips or bank details to do so and 1st credit have ignored this request-
If they do take hubby to court will it go against him that he hasnt paid anything because they havent provided us with details to do so
Should I send postal postal orders as payment and if so do I just put 1st credit on it or do I continue to request payment details?
Many thanks guysDon't get strung out by the way I look,

No i cant see how it can really as they have demonstrated a complete lack of actually wanting a payment, well apart from the full amount i guess will have been asked for somewhere.
It may strengthen your case if you do attempt to pay regardless but feel it much a muchness if it goes to court.
You may find they sudenly go quiet for a while though if you do, although im sure they will pop back up asking for more at a later stage:rolleyes:Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

this is my hubbys account who will not speak on the phone to anyone but his family!!
He needs to come out of denial and write to them authorising you to deal with his account.

Thanks for your comments, it is not that he is in denial, it is just that I am more equiped to deal with this issue (with the help from everyone here
whilst he is working overtime to try and bring more money in.
I do deal with his account - in writing- he is involved i keep him updated with what is happening- it works for us.
The problem is they want him on the phone so they can bully and pressure him into paying more than we can afford so therefore 1st credit ignore all the letters that are sent offering what we can afford and asking to be provided with a method to do so.
We are doing everything we can to sort this out- they want payment in full - we just dont have it.Don't get strung out by the way I look,

reading back I guess it reads like he is in denail - he is just a lazy git when it comes to things like this as I have always dealt with it- even if he was writing teh letters the outcome from 1st credit would be the same and I would still be worrying about it - I guess it is easy for me if I am dealing with it- and he feels he is doing all he can by working overtime- and obviously when I start to talk/worry about it he feels that he has let me down some how.Don't get strung out by the way I look,

It's a difficult one. He probably doesn't realise the extent of the problem because you are dealing with it. I know it's easy for me to say, but how about letting him deal with 1st Crudit and maybe he'll realise the extent of it.
I deal with 1st Crudit and I hate them with a passion so I appreciate why you don't want hubby to deal with them as you are worried about him being bullied but maybe it will give him a bit of a wake up call.
I have to admit, I have a bit of fun with them now and wind them up as much as they wind me up and they hate me! Think I have a black mark on their computer ...but "am I bovvered"Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Have you tried CCA,ing them Deep In Debt? what was the debt for?
A lot of people think winning a CCA means you dont have to pay but if they cant produce a valid agreemant it also means you can pay on your terms.......if your up for the fight that is;)Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….
