Nokia N82, can it be unlocked & is this the best deal?
Thinking of buying Nokia N82. I found the best deal from Orange. 12 months contract. Free phone. £28 per month plus £150 from Quidco. This will make the phone cost me only £186.
Can this model be unlocked for free?
I do not bother about promotion. I've just wanted to get the phone. Normally I spend around £5 on my personal PAYG vodofone (got a separate work phone paid by my employer).
Not sure how reliable of ebay sellers are?
Is there anywhere to get it cheaper?
Or other model? I only want Nokia with camera, bluetooth, wifi, video features.
Actually, I'm not in hurry to upgrade my personal mobile. but saw that
Orange deal from quidco will expire this sunday. or should I wait any longer?
many thanks.....

So far, no. You'll have to pay Orange for unlocking.0

Bear in mind that even if you do get it unlocked, it'll still have the Orange firmware on and the only way to get rid of this is to unbrand the phone. Not sure how much this will cost though. If you're not in a hurry for a phone I'd probably wait around and see if there are better deals. The networks are constantly competing with each other in terms of price so I wouldn't be surprised if better deals start appearing.0

i think you can easily debrand these using the nokia s/w update and some program that i cannot remember now (a search should bring up some results)0
