What to do with spare minutes on orange and 3 mobile
I do not get through all my minutes on 3 mobile and orange. Currently 350 minutes on 3 will expire without use and around 100 on orange.
I was wondering what are the options to use up these minutes to get some credit or use it on a service?
I have tried to use WAP on orange using their [FONT=Verdana, Arial]+44797 3100500 but it did not work. I phoned orange and they told me they no longer supply a WAP service. Can I use these minutes for GPRS?
Anyone with any ideas?

I'd also like an answer to this question. There must be a way to use free minutes to your advantage.0

Looks like not too many other people care about it

Care about what? We're hardly likely to tell you who to phone up more often0

I know that three used to do a PAYG plan where they actually give you credit for calls you receive0

My question is legitimate and I thought that this would apply to a lot of users! How many of us have inclusive minutes that go to waste, especially people who have been mis-sold contracts by mobile companies.
There used to be companies, QX telecom comes to mind, where you could call their geographical number and for each minute you got credit with which you could call other services/users. So for example if you have 200 mins to burn, they would give you 20 mins credit on their system to call europe or something. Beats letting them go to waste!!! That's what we are here for, aren't we?
Looking at the QX site, they don't seem to have this service anymore.0 -
The only advice I can give here, with regards to Orange, is to make sure you are on the best kind of "animal" price plan. I was on a Racoon price plan which gave me loads of minutes and texts, way more than I needed, and I had to add on a gprs data bundle. A few months later I realised that there was a Dolphin bundle which had less minutes and texts, but already had some gprs data allowance included. So by switching from one animal to another, I was able to get rid of the bundle and save money this way.0

Why do that, when you could use other services to call Europe with all 200 of those minutes at little or no extra cost?
I'm talking about using mobile, not 1899 or VoIP or whatever. And not calling 084* or 087* numbers. If you know of a way to call abroad for free using mobile minutes, I'm all ears my friend!:D0
