Cookie that looks fantastic well done :)

  • thanks everyone :) I am really pleased with it, half tempted just to leave it as it looks like a background for the crab. One side the paint is smooth and the other is 'stipply' to kind of look like sand :S But you can't really tell from the photos.

Typical I missed my beautiful paper being delivered today! Will have to pick up tomorrow

Cookiedough could you put a little tag in the pockett, I have found this site http://www.dltk-cards.com/tags/tag2.asp it is for kids but might help. If you choose summer it then take you to some options with beach theme's in. I am not sure how the tag looks when you complete the step, but when I saw the beach I though of your hanger HTH,

  • Can't believe I had to go to page 7 to find this thread!

Anyhoo, I've decided to do a door hanger for my sister to go in a pregnancy-themed pamper hamper. I want it to be more for a mum-to-be than for the baby itself (she's approx. 16 weeks into the pregnancy).
So the question is: has anyone done a door hanger on this theme? I'd appreciate any suggestions.

This will also be my first attempt at any door hanger. I've recently bought the Basic Grey 6x6 papers (sugared and cupcake) so would ideally lke to use some of those.

    TIA x

I've got those beautiful papers too - thanks to the tip off from melissa or polly on the card thread ;) As the papers are 6x6 you will need to join them on the hanger as the hangers are longer than 6 inches but using ribbon or something to disguise the join won't be a problem. Does that make sense

You could add words like 'shhh...mum to be resting'.

Good luck with it and I look forward to seeing some pics :D

The pink one's not quite complete; I have to do something to go into the pocket. And how tricky are those circles!
