Thanks Mary - I actually used sticky back plastic - came in a roll from one of the pound shops!! I love using those as there is no glueing involved! This one was a bit tricky to use however as it was kind of like a foil so a bit difficult to get smooth edges!! The floral one I used previously was better - its so easy - just cut outline remove backing sheet stick on hanger and then cut using craft knife - takes about 5mins! And then I just stuck on foam shapes which were also pre-sticky!0 -
I have just made my last two hangers - nightmare:eek: cutting the edges was fine but cutting round the hole was awful. the paper just ripped. they are for my two boys - if they were to give away I think they would have ended up in the bin! I stuck bits on and they look OK. I said to OH do you think I should put a photo on MSE? he said probably not. thanks for your support!! I might put one on tomorrow will see how they look in the morning. Didn't help that I am shattered but wanted to get them done!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Just stumbled across this thread and yet another fantastic idea that I want to try my hand at. I am going to make one for my friends little boy, but with leaving it this late going to have to make them completly from scratch. I have some old boxes some where that i will use and double it to make it stronger.
Very nice hangers every one :j:wave: Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -
