Trying to send file by e-mail

SUCCESS !!
ISP got in touch, and said they'd had problems with their provider's scanning programmes before, but suggested to send the attachment again, but to go into the ISP's own web-page for e-mail logging-on and see if that saw the attachment.
Using the lapto, it did, and when I went to open it, Vista said it saw the attachment as a threat (even though it was Microsoft Office based !!), and if I was satisfied it didn't constitute a security risk, I clicked the button and hey presto, there it was on the laptop.
To cover all bases, opened Windows Mail, the e-mail was downloded, with attachment, that opened successfully !!

For future reference, if both of you are on Skype, AOL or other instant messaging together then simply do an instant file transfer. Works a treat.0
