QB What great news!! I am really pleased for you!
Snaggles - go get your back sorted!! The Doc's there to help....

Right just done my online shop so there is NO need for me to go tomorrow!!
I have a question I hope someone knows the answer!!
My youngest is starting nursery on the 21st and I was wondering how long after I inform CTC people will they start paying me the extra?????? it's just the fee's are quite a lot and I will have to pay myself to begin with and just wondered how long that might be for..... also do they back date it from when he started????
    Really hope someone can help!

    Jane
You can inform them a week before your start date... and then we've usually found our payments are altered by the 2nd TC day after depending on when you tell them and when you get your payments.

Thanks Sally/Jet - I'm a bit scared because my fingers often feel stiff in the morning too (can't make a fist until I have exercised them a bit), and I'm really worried it might be arthritis.
The only way you're going to find out is by going to your doctors hun. :grouphug:

Snaggles, my fingers are stiff in the morning too and I find its due to water retention.I take some herbal water tablets and its much better.
But you must get your back sorted by G.P.

Thanks for that .... Didn't know you could tell them the week before I did ring them to ask when I should let them know and the women said the week he start's?? To be honest I think it may depend on who you speak to.... At the moment I am paid 4 weekly but I think I may change this to weekly so I can pay his fee's weekly!

Aww Bunny, I'm so glad great things are happening for you at the moment! With what's happened this week, it's really made me think and made me determined to not waste my life wallowing that I have no money - make the most of what you have, and do what Sally's doing and do as much of it for free!

It really is brilliant that Dad's home. My only worry now is that Mum will run out of patience/sympathy and get annoyed with him! I might have to remind her how close we were to losing him at the weekend and for her to be grateful he's still here!
