Morning everyone - HURRAY, it's Friday and MY DADDY'S HOME!! I can't believe it! After the week we've all had, it is amazing to think that, having been so poorly at the weekend, that yesterday he was well enough to come home! It's amazing to see and I know the NHS has its detractors, but I currently have nothing but praise for them!

Sally, I hope you have a lovely holiday and that the sun shines for you. But what a great idea to 'housesit' - a free hotel! I'm sure there are plenty of free places to go - not least the beach!

I hope you are OK Jinky and feeling happier now. Glad to hear your shoes are nearly with you!

Morning to Bunny and Angel and Louise and anyone else I've missed or who will follow!

jinky - *hugs*

sallyx - not sure whereabouts in Devon you are but there's probably loads to do whichever end you're at. I'd go higher than you need and don't feel that you have to spend it all! Try, https://www.thisisdevon.co.uk for things to do
I love the DFW house swap idea, what a perfect way to get a holiday on a budget.

Queen.Bess - glad to hear your dad's home

Glad your Dad is doing well QB :T

Morning everyone else, and (((hugs))) to Jinky.

I'm soooo tired today because my back was hurting so much I kept waking up every hour or so. I think I'm going to have to go to the doctors, but I'm a bit scared...lol!

Get down to the Dr's, you cant be awake all night in pain. Don't be scared, sure they will sort you out,

Gemmzie that link is great, have been trying to plan our week...weather dependant of course, but It will be sunny and hot! Do you know the best thing about housesitting is that they have the hugest most beautiful house in 3 acres of land with a stream and no neighbours for at least 1000m...ahhh pure bliss and won't want to come home!

Sally - My holidays first port of call with my family was always Tesco (or equivalent) to get food and then off to the Tourist Information to get loads of leaflets on things to do in the area - and also they often have discount vouchers as well.
Great holiday routine - always set us up well for the holiday!

Thanks Sally/Jet - I'm a bit scared because my fingers often feel stiff in the morning too (can't make a fist until I have exercised them a bit), and I'm really worried it might be arthritis.
