Hi Tim,

Thanks for the advice. I see what you mean about the damask being a better quality than the fabric. I have found the following two options which look like good options:

http://www.mattressesworld.co.uk/p/Perfect_Night_Ortho_Mattress.htm

http://www.mattressesworld.co.uk/p/Joseph_Titan_Ortho_Comfort_Mattress.htm

However, there is one more fly in the ointment. That website, (and most like it) all say that you can only return the mattress if it is in its original packaging. Presumably that means that if I unwrap it to use it, and a few weeks later decide I need to return it, I can't.

The local retailer where I found the Sleepwell mattress (and I still know nothing about Sleepwell) have the same policy and their mattress seems to be of comparable quality but £20 cheaper and free delivery (instead of £20 delivery from the website).

On that basis am I better off taking the risk with the local shop, or is there something else I am missing?

Thanks

If I were you I'd keep searching on line

FINALLY...

We have purchased a new mattress! It will only be delivered in the next couple of weeks, so we will continue to sleep on the two singles we've squeezed onto our king base! Found an old school buddy working at a local furniture store and struck a deal ;)

It's the only place I can find it online, but got it for £550 mattress only. Including delivery and collection of course :T

Even two singles woudn't be 6' x 7'. A single mattress is 3' wide by 6'3" long. A super king size mattress is 6' wide by 6'6" long.
I'll have a search for my tape measure, then!
But if we decide a SK mattress is the way to go, where's the cheapest place to get one from?
• At last got an email from Kozeesleep saying which local retailers sell their beds. Email footer says "Kozeesleep / Restus Beds Ltd" so if I see a Restus bed I'll know what it is. Email address for Kozeesleep is info@kozeesleep.co.uk.

I'm afraid I can't recommend any outlets (either my own or others) in the forums.

Restus is actually the more up market part of the company.

Hi everyone. Could anybody give me advice about this bed

SLEEPEEZEE - GOLD TOUCH 2000. COST £720 IN THE SALE.

Really need a comfortable sleep as I suffer from Osteoporosis and had a spinal fracture 2 years ago.

Advice gratefull received. It is a pocket sprung memory mattress. Slightly worried about being too hot in bed
Try and do a good deed every day.

For £720 forget it.

There are a few reasons why I would advise against this mattress:
1. It's made by Sleepeezee who are middle of the range, so £720 would be too much to pay.
2. The mattress is non turn so the springs won't last as long
3. I can't find the memory foam density listed anywhere.
The memory foam making you too hot shouldn't actually be a problem with this mattress because it is pocket sprung with memory foam, so the air can circulate and dissapate the heat.
