dual sim spliters
I am getting an orange locked N82 tommorrow and really fancy having 2 sim cards using one of the ebay joiners.
ideally i would like the 2nd network to be t-mobile for their webNwalk £1 a day thing.
does anyone know if i have an orange and tmobile sims in one of those joiners if the phone will be locked when i try and use the non orange sim or if the presence of an orange sim will let the other one work

No.
You'll need to contact Orange and arrange for an Unlock Code.
They may charge you.0 -

Cant help you but how do these splitters work? how do you select which sim you want to make a call with?TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
on older ones you used to have to switch off the phone and back on to switch between the SIMs, though I remember reading about one which somehow allowed it via the phone interface (can't remember how). The only way you can actually have both SIMs simultaneously active is with a genuine dual-SIM phone (Samsung and a few unknown brands make them). Or have two phones, obviously!
With new phones the space inside is quite limited so the adaptors have become a lot smaller but most require you to chop your SIM down to a tiny size - so beware of the risks involved with doing that! The thanks button is here to the right.
