Billing error = free calls!
Hi all.... just looking for opinions on the following...
A friend of mine took out a mobile contract a while back, part of the deal being 1/2 price line rental for the duration. He pays by DD and apparently never looks at his bills (not sure if it's paper or e-billing), but recently he did check and found that the 1/2 price offer had been applied twice, effectively giving him a 100% line rental discount and as such a free phone (unless he goes over the monthly allowances). He used the phone abroad and was charged normal roaming rates, but all inclusive calls are still free in the UK. I was wondering where he stands with this legally; is he liable for the costs when (if?) they find out or is it their mistake and so their problem?

Most probably will be liable if they find out as he has signed the contract to pay x amount of money0
