Hello !
Fuming with VM - half an hour of being cut off and/ or hold then to find out their "offer" was basically Broadband for £16 a month !
Basically had tv/ phone package at approx £50 a month all in. Have a new laptop and for internet have been on AOL Dial-Up ! Contacted VM having seen their offers for "new" customers (£4.50 or £8 a month for example) only to be advised the "best package they could do" for an existing customer to incorporate basic broadband (2mgb) would take whole package up to £66 a month.
As a VM customer are there any other broadband or even Dial Up Providers I could turn to for internet access ?
Thank you

I came to the end of my virgin £10 for 12 months deal and found they were inflexible and wouldn't come down from the £18 a month package, so I cancelled. They then wanted my business back and I got several calls trying to get me to stay and a better offer of £11 a month but not the £9 new customers were getting at the time.
Consequently I have just moved from virgin to O2. If you are on a LLU exchange and have an O2 mobile then you can currently get broadband for £7.50 a month.0 -
If you don't have a bt landline, you could try the mobile broadband providers.
The best deal I found was £15 per month from vodafone, plus if you go through quidco you get £90 cashback, so works out at £7.50 pm.
With this you get the 3GB on a 12 month contract, and the free modem.
I signed up for it yesterday and got it delivered today.0
