Is it worth selling clothes on Ebay?

i've periodically sold clothes on ebay, i go through my wardrobe every couple of months and weed out when i don't wear or like anymore. i tend to keep the money i get from auctions in my paypal account for ebay shopping as you get charged for transferring smaller amounts (think it's under £50) to your bank account.
try and aim to list things that are appropriate to the season and relate them to trends. even if it's a basic tshirt write some suggestions as to how it could be worn eg. with flared jeans, boots, high waisted skirt etc. i find things like floaty dresses and skirts sell particularly well in the summer whereas i have a whole load of knitwear waiting to be listed for autumn as i know it won't sell particularly well at the moment.
a few tips - always list measurements, even if there's a label with a size different manufacturers have different sizing systems, even for the same shop. be very specific about where you're measuring and if the garment is measured flat or stretched. write an accurate description including how it fits, the fabric and colour, any faults (even the tiniest pulled thread might have a buyer up in arms), where it's from, how old it is, how much it cost, how much it's been worn and why you're selling it. have some kind of refund/return policy in place to protect yourself and at the very least get a reciept from the post office when you send it out, although many people send recorded delivery for extra security.
it may be worth you listing some small, inexpensive items to get into the swing of it. i've been on ebay for 5 years now and have had very little problems both as a buyer and seller, it's one of my favourite places to shop0 -
I've been listing baby stuff but its gone a bit quiet at the moment, for me at any rate! everyone want things at rock bottom prices now, so taking into account listing fees, paypal fees I am finding that it's just not worth it, Ebay is making more money than me out of it.
Good luck
