Edited my original post, because most people don't read all the thread.
I am not happy everyone is suffering, I am not 'happy' . I am content that those who rubbed peoples noses in it are stopping... and realising that it was wrong.0 -
Oh dear. The old bugga here, lol. All this talk regarding hpi, I am still trying to find out how all this has been of benefit to me. All I can see is the banks having a rough( trying to be nice ) time of it. Stock market all over the place. Most of my friends, including me, small businesses owners finding the going tough.
In my opinion it`s total rubbish!0 -
Yeah, I'll second that. Rubbish, really rubbish.Oh dear. The old bugga here, lol. All this talk regarding hpi, I am still trying to find out how all this has been of benefit to me. I had a wicked little Lifeplan in action....that is being all mucked around with. . Still, everything happens for a reason......which I will probably suss out when I am 80.0 -
Yep that`s the problem with life plans. As much as you try, outside influences always muck `um up. Not sure that it has always been this way, probally has. However, we do seem to swing almost overnight.
Only less than a couple of years ago we had Inside Track, a``strong economy``, property !!!!!!, hey it`s all sooooooooo good.
Now it`s doom and gloom as we realise that Broon Trousers got it all so wrong about boom and bust.
It is a sad thing I feel, but so many will and are going to be in a world of pain that was floated on the back of spin and deception.0 -

Oh, I think we all feel that, don't we?
I certainly did not plan to be where I am now!0 -
Don`t really have a life plan as such. Did have which included retirement to Spain but for different reasons that has gone out of the window.
I remember, after dropping out of teacher training, I, in the end found a job I loved. Worked very hard and saw my income increase as did promotion. Used all available means to train myself up. It all seemed so straight forward then.
This happened to most folk I know that worked hard. Even though we had some big hpi in the late 70`s, wages went along with it. Things, somehow, seemed steadier then, well they were for me.0 -

Not really - I don't have a life plan. I always had a vague feeling that I wouldn't be in a long-term relationship, and didn't intend to have children.
Here I am, aged 30, with a near 11-year relationship and a 3 year old!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
NDG, you are too young for The Life Plan...you are currently 'Going With the Flow' (I did too at 30).neverdespairgirl wrote: »Not really - I don't have a life plan. I always had a vague feeling that I wouldn't be in a long-term relationship, and didn't intend to have children.
