Think Morty hit the nail on the head :)

SO far I haven't seen any complaints about them not paying out - a little late some times yes... I guess if you find after depositing your >£1500 salary etc that they refuse to pay your £100 then would be the right time to call it a scam :)

  • That's fair enough. :T I've heard enough to switch my salary over from HSBC to First Direct.
  • First Money Direct along with all the other companies that reckon they can get you a personal loan even if you have a poor credit rating are just to be frank 'liars'. They all charge you a fee & then either don't find you a loan or don't get you what you ask for & then you have the fight to get you money back.
If anyone have had an experience which is contary to this please let me know whom it was with.

    Do I understand you correctly?

You are complaining about not geting £100, for switching to First Direct, but according to your lastest post, "you have not actually switched your salary over yet"

If this is correct, why should you have expected the money at all!

Nothing to do with First Direct.

    Some people are really stupid.

First Direct don't offer loans to people with a poor credit rating, think you're mixing them up with some other lender.

Why would anyone think that First Direct would operate a "scam" ? The OP sounds a bit desperate !

The poster that dragged this thread up from 2008 has referred to "First Money Direct", NOT First Direct. I think they're a bit confused...
