Like i said yesterday i do hampers and make quizzes up for Macmillan and marie curie. like your show i don't make much money either and i feel they are could prizes. The most i have ever raised at one time was £100 but it all helps. This is why i am after the elle gwp and well any boots goodies i can get hold of really as i have to take my money that i spend back off the end total and if i get it free or for very little it means more money goes to the charity.

So today i tried my 2 tiny locals they don't stock elle at all and i went to the bigger boots in the next town and they had the gwp but no minis they had lots of signs saying to be purchased when you spend £10 so i don't think i could have gotten away with it anyway.

Yes, mine said GWP when you spend £10 but I thought I would try it anyway. could always go back for a refund if it wasn't. Not that I do this very often - go for refunds.

Someone posted on the last thread that Baby monitors were drastically reduced in their boots. In mine they are still full price £29.99, etc. Does anyone have a Boots where these are drastically reduced? So far we have managed without baby monitors because we live in a tiny 1 bedroom flat and we can hear everything!

But we are going north for a week's holiday and will need one for SIL's house, so am happy to pay P&P, if anyone could purchase one for me at less than a tenner please? Will need the 2 monitors, one that goes in baby's room and one that we have so we can hear DS if he wakes up. Would prefer portable, not one you plug in, as this is very restrictive due to layout of SIL's house.

In the boots near ikea in leeds they have some reduced cosmetics ie maxfactor pencil, nail varnishes and lipglosses from natural collection.


The natural collection nail varnishes are reduced to 50p and you can use the 50points wyb nat collection from the acm,


They had a few left yesterday, maybe worth looking out for as if points count as cash they are effectively free.


Points will have to be manually added as whan they scan the clearance barcodes the till doesn't recognise your nat purchase

Does anyone know if Boots have a clearance outlet shop in Nottingham or anywhere else for that matter. You know similar to the Next outlet stores.

Boots do have a clearance store, but it is in Beckton, in East London. Not sure if there are any anywhere else.

I've got a feeling that the glitch might have been busted in Bristol Cribbs Causeway on Saturday morning. I got there at 9a.m., bright and early and ready to go bargain hunting. Started my usual meander around the shop, looking for reduced SELs and trying to remember what you lovely lot on here had seen reduced in your Boots, and I came across the Elle Stuff. Remembered AM saying she was less than impressed with the fragrance of the shower gel/body wash stuff (washing up liquid was it?? LOL!) so I had a sniff of the mini. There were about 6 of the £ 9.99/ free giftsets left, so I went round to the travel bit of the store (via the reduced stand - which had completely DISAPPEARED - meanies!!) to see what other minis there were there to choose from. When I got back to the main Elle McP stand, all the giftsets had gone! So either someone had just snaffled all 6 - suppose it could have been an MSE-er - or they had been removed from the shelf by staff. What do you think....

oh, well, either way it saved me spending money (though it would have been points if I'd been quick enough) to get minis I didn't want in order to get freebies I didn't need.....
