H007- so sorry to hear your sad news- sending your mum my very best wishes for speedy treatment and recovery :A xxx

Iieee- no it wasn't marked as a gwp  either they are a bit slack on this or they sell so many of them for full price they don't need to bother advertising the gwps!
The glitch still worked this morning though. Good luck if you give it a go!

Urgh I will need all the luck I can get with these till spits. Just when I think I've got rid of them all I find some more in my bag  :rotfl: Used 1 this morning on the UG glitch but then got another one back for the transaction lol

Was it marked as being a GWP today? I saw it in there last Friday but it didn't say it was free so I didn't try it. Bit like the legendary med GWP! :o

Oh and good luck spending your new tillspit. :D

So sorry to hear that! I went through a similar experience with my dad last year - very tough! You have to believe she will be okay.....

"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

I was at our local show yesterday, it is run by the Lionsandcubs organisation. They get quite a few people turning up but I don't think they really make much money from it. I was talking to one of the stallholders and she was looking for volunteers to help with the fundraising.

I thought, well why don't I make a basket from the freebies I get from Boots or really cheap stuff and donate this to the next fundraiser. They could hold a raffle for the basket, as I am sure this would be popular for birthdays/xmas, etc.

Great minds think alike! This includes Dotchas.:j

is your local show in the east midlands by any chance? sounds like mine.
Like i said yesterday i do hampers and make quizzes up for Macmillan and marie curie. like your show i don't make much money either and i feel they are could prizes. The most i have ever raised at one time was £100 but it all helps. This is why i am after the elle gwp and well any boots goodies i can get hold of really as i have to take my money that i spend back off the end total and if i get it free or for very little it means more money goes to the charity.

So today i tried my 2 tiny locals they don't stock elle at all and i went to the bigger boots in the next town and they had the gwp but no minis they had lots of signs saying to be purchased when you spend £10 so i don't think i could have gotten away with it anyway.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

It's fine honestly - those signs were all over the 3 shops where I have found & bought a mini and got a couple of GWPs to keep it company - obviously buying a few other bits & bobs at the same time to make it just a little less obvious!

If your store is that strict, I would be careful about trying the expert glitch using two vouchers. I *think* it was something similar (using two of the same vouchers with different barcodes) that caused a Bootser big trouble earlier this year. They cut up her card, questioned her about children's birth dates as they were PC coupons (and her kids were "virtual"), and were generally very nasty. I think she got it all sorted in the end, but it was hideous and she could've lost all her points.

There have been a disturbing number of reports by Bootsers about SAs threatening to report them over just using till spits or other completely innocent transactions. With the wrong SA, this glitch could really blow up in your face! If you know your SAs are tough, be extra careful!

Yeh thanks i remember that how awful for the op.
I had a look but there was hardly anything on the shelf nothing for £2.49 and under. My voucher is from my ds so they couldn't say i anything about that. I tried to use it last time when they had a 1/2 price offer on and the SA refused to scan the voucher as well. It really isn't worth the hassle sometimes is it? It still doesn't stop me wanting the stuff and being green when i read what others have got you are all :money:

At Wincheap branch at Canterbury they had old stock Time Delay on clearance, day and night moisturisers at £5.00 each, eye cream and some kit things (that I can't remember whats in, some 3 stage thing!) sorry can't remember price though. Didn't have much though. HTH someone.

Can't speak for the town store for reductions, didn't see any on Saturday.
