Oh heck don't get me started on this subject, I am never happy with pushchairs lol! I have 2 children but in that nearly 3 years I have had 6 (I think) different ones (each time DH says "that is the last one you are having!"...yes dear! but he doesn't realise I have also had about 8 slings for bubba too :p )

To keep it Boots related errrrrrrrrm I have bought a car seat from Mr B recently.
Lol, you've beaten me withmy current 4 prams with 2 children. Have been using a cheapo Chicco buggy from argos lately which we bought for going abroad last Nov. I don't even really like it but it's just easier to use than my Quinny because it has a basket and I can hang stuff off it. Also have a Macleran Techno XT double buggy which is far too heavy too push now the kids are bigger (wasn't too bad when they were teeny but is a nightmare to steer) and a Graco Quattro Travel System thingymejig (with a buggyboard) which is a nightmare to fit in the car. Daft thing is I had a fiesta when we bought it (got a focus now) and have no idea how I ever managed to fit it in the boot

Got no hope of getting this post back to Boots......

I have had a few and I have found that the less fancy the better! I now have a basic maclaren and you can really load the handles up with bootsing gear, they are light for airports, endure amazing battering, fold up teeny and if you scrub the hell out of them, they dry quickly(sir eats alot in his!).

Plus best of all, the boots baskets fit perfectly over both handles :rotfl:

Quinys are cool looking, but are useless for bootsing!

You're right with this one, I recently got the really reduced Koochi puschair (£38 from Argos) and it really takes lots of (boots) bags lol...I don't think DH was particularly impressed with this as I have stopped using my rather more expensive Phil & Ted for the time being :o
3 children under 5 means not enough comping and crafting time

    August wins: Krisprolls tin :rotfl:
September wins: £100 H&M gift card

Yeah I know my hubby is the same. I bought one off ebay last week for £20 and Its awful like really bad you cant even steer it. I should have know for the price really but its rrp was £40 and the woman was selling brand new but actually she had used it once. I felt obliged to buy it as I picked it up. Hey ho its back on ebay and nobody wants it :rotfl:

My hubby will kill me if I get another one and then dont like it again, so I best choose wisely this time

Don't they do those 'hand holder' thingymadjigs still? Or is that now classed as sadistic as putting children in the under stair cupboard
:rotfl: Lol, I have got one somewhere. To be honest I only really hold her hand when near roads etc the rest of the time I can trust her to stay close to me so no need to use it really. Oh and in Boots DD is kept amused by looking at the testers, counting the rows of make up etc (strange but keeps her occupied) and she loves picking up the ACM vouchers out of the machine so she stays close enough, lol.

Thank you so much for all of that detailed info about Clinique. I used to use it religiously but found my skin just couldnt handle it. I was told that sometimes skin has to get worse before it improves. I agree that the mild clarifying lotion is much nicer than the regular.
What about the All about eyes stuff - is that just as useless? LOL I have some left over from a GWP and just wondered if I should bother using it or invest in a better eye cream.
    Aww, thanks :)
The thing with all about eyes is that it's actually a good formula, with antioxidants and other skin beneficial ingredients but the fact that it's in a jar means air gets into it and the antioxidants and all the nice but unstable ingredients react with the air and what you're left with is a standard moisturiser with silicone. By all means have a go, I'm sure with the first few uses it'll be ok (if you put the lid back on quickly lol!) but otherwise I'd try selling on ebay as clinique stuff is v. popular on there.
Basically don't buy anything expensive in a jar, as what made it expensive will leave the jar after the first few uses!
You don't actually need to buy a seperate moisturiser for the eyes, I think they were invented by cosmetics companies to make more money as they charge loads for tiny jars or tubes compared to face moisturisers, and there's nothing in the formulas which is exclusive to eye moisturisers. As long as the moisturiser doesn't contain exfoliants (see my clearasil post), irritants or fragrance, you should be fine to use it on the eyes.
Clinique's Continuous Rescue Antioxidant Moisturiser is fantastic, fine for the eyes and will obviously last a long time if you only use it on your eyes, and it's much better value than using a clinique eye moisturiser (plus I think most if not all of them are in jars).
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)

Just looked up the koochi one. Looks ok would you recommend it?

I am looking for something easy to push and easy to manouevre, also that is not very heavy and folds up well

No definitly not that one. This one was only £40 from Argos literally bought it to take to Cyprus along with the Quinny as DD was 2 and DS was 11 months at the time and this was cheapest with a hood (to keep the sun off). Not sure exactly what it was called but it was a cheapy, lol.

If anyone was wondering, yes you have wandered off onto the "Buggy Grabbit Bargains Part 1 - Post your finds here" thread :rotfl: which was merged with the "What's for Tea(or dinner depending where you live)" thread.

    Only joking dearies ;)
