my DD went to buy the Simple 3 for 2 prodiucts today in our local Boots ( a v. small one, no Advantage card machine here) but not on offer.0

I bought 2 x No7 Tan maintainer @ £10 on bogof and got gwp.
Paid £10 with points.

Well today I planned to get the new 17 gwp as been holding off buying pressed powder till this started....well I didnt even make it to boots.....grrr.....I went to a book shop and paid by card....they over charged me so I queried it they got abusive and begrudingly gave me my £1!!!! yep £1 back and hurled abuse at me as I walked away. Just as was out of ear shot (or so they thought) I heard the one say.."don't worry I have her card details" I was horrified and ran back to work. Bank have cancelled my card but it means I can't get any money out till the new one arrives in 7 working days!!! so no bootsing for me till then.....unless OH can lend me some money...god I hate it when things don't go to plan AND because I didnt get to boots I didn't get any lunch so now I am starving!!! Phew rant over.....is the new 17 GWP really nice????Will not spend more money

That's disgusting behaviour and I don't think CS would be too pleased to hear that tbh.

Wow, that's absolutely shocking behaviour!! The shop I mean obviously!! I would write a letter to their head office and name & shame the staff. Don't let them get away with it and possibly do it to someone else. I am :mad: on your behalf!
