:rotfl: Oh totally off topic...but after Bootsing...during which my little fella fell asleep as usual...I popped into sainsburys, despite the buggy being seriously over loaded...but had to pop back as I realised 30 seconds after leaving that the rascal had in his hands a pack of steak mince...surely if he was a normal 15 month old he would have 'stolen' mints not mince
Guess he just thinks mummy gets stuff free? :rotfl:
Sorry had to share the oddness of my meat obsessed little fella...only a vegetarian mummy could get such a meat addict eh :rotfl:
I hope you took it straight back :rotfl:
A few weeks ago, whilst DD2 was in buggy in a certain shop (ahem Boots) and there was a hold up at the till with blinkin vouchers beeping (TS long ACM and pc free ts IIRC). Anyway, comes out DD1 (with OH) shouts "i want one" looked down and DD2 clutching 3 Milkybars  . Now i never normally give my DDs chocolate. Next time i was in i looked and yes they are just at the right level for a baby in a buggy to grab whilst held up at the till(not that i'm condoning/encouraging this)

For those of you that have tons of baby shampoo thanks to the Expert glitch, I have another use for it -- washing your eyelashes.
I know it sounds funny, but years ago an eye doctor told me that you very easily get bacteria in your eyelashes from using eye makeup. I apparently had some at the time; it looks like you have a teeny, tiny flake or something caught in your lashes, but on closer inspection it's attached to your eyelid. (He also said you should toss all eye makeup every three months -- yeah, right! I do plan to start tossing mascara every 6 months though as I now have so many little samples that are perfect for tossing regularly).
Anyhow, he said using a little shampoo is the best thing to prevent/get rid of this bacteria. He said it is different and better than using regular soap or facial cleanser (can't recall why). The baby shampoo is nice and gentle and great to wash the 'ol lashes during the shower. Hope that actually helps someone, or at least that no one thinks I'm nuts, lol.0 -
Little boots shop for me today, just got Ted Baker beauty bag for 7.50 with points (alas have used all my ACM coupons on three cosmetic purses!!) and some TS spray for 3.99 that sounds like febreeze for hair LOL.
On a non boots-ing note I got four tubs of farleys in LIDL. They had eight but that was all I could fit in bottom of buggy. I still have seven in the cupboard but justified it to myself that I was saving twelve pounds (4 x three quid).:money:
And for fellow Heinz custard stashers - Farmfoods are selling damn things for 39p!!! Yes 39p that's even cheaper than the Boots glitch. They also had heinz baby veg crackers in the purple bags 3 for £1.0 -
just trying to catch up:) moved house, had pc probs and couldnt get dial up to connect and had to wait 21 days for broadband connection.:(
OMG the amount of toiletries and beauty stuff i packed during my housemove was beyond rediculous, didnt realize how much i had actually accumulated until i started to empty the draws and cupboards, think most of my packing crates were boots items.
and guess what, the funny thing after all the stress of the house move,i cant wait to go bootsing againwho need wallpaper eh

I was looking through all my goodies earlier, and it is getting to be quite a collection but its scary if I add up the receipts as well as Ive actually spent a fair bit in boots that I otherwise wouldn't have. The bits and bobs to cover a glitch or the spontaneous purchase or the offer that didnt go thorugh but I didnt bother getting a refund etc
My little tips
Always take back the offers that dont go through.
I make sure I return them the same day, to another till in the store,or else I never do it.
A good way to cover glitches is with a couple of meal deals or I get nappies for my friend and she gives me the money back , nothing like a huge pack of Pampers to distract a s/a :rotfl:I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A0 -
