I got my eyebrows threaded on saturday...they look amazing!

I also had my done last Wednesday, plus I had them tinted, as when I was young the fashion was to shave off the ends of your eyebrows and mine have never grown back right and what a differance it has made. At the same time I had my upper lip done as well. Worth every penny.

I used to use the wax strips from Boots but now I have had this done I won't be using them again.

I have to say I always read this thread but get very scared to actually do the glitches incase they didnt work but since they've put the self scan tills in I've felt a bit braver and although today I was sure that the assistant knew what I up to I plucked up the courage to try the glitch (but only did the one bag first hence five rather than six)

Boots are clever, today I used up all of my 8 tillspits - my store had plenty of the JF mini serums (can't survive without the serum btw) but instead I paid £1.95 each time for the 30ml version. My reasoning was that I use more than 5ml every time I wash my hair so the mini serums aren't that useful, but I do need the serum... so...
Thing is, if boots didn't do the free serums I probably wouldn't have used all my spits, but I couldn't not use them as I could have got the mini free, but I couldn't get the mini as it's too small! Clever mr Boots! I was almost dissappointed when the SA accidentally gave me back the spit after I'd used it, but begrudgingly :rotfl:I went to get another 30ml. I suppose I win in the end though, because I paid £11.70 for £23.70 worth of serum, which I will use.

I had one till spit left and I decided to go for broke with the model.me, expecting to get told 'not to be used in conjunction blah blah..' but to my surprise the nice australian guy at the tills added the points for me with no problems! :T
I also got 2x preg med sets free :T
And another £50 worth of clinique...

I did make a discovery though: anyone who's interested in the Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel (and rightly so, it's a very well formulated product)

The M-Gel Lotion (from the men's range) has exactly the same ingredients, and it's quite a bit cheaper! Lazy clinique but good for anyone who's not put off by the packaging! I got some for OH's birthday (which isn't until december... why have I bought most of the presents already?? :rotfl:)
    clq_6FMF_158.jpg

I also looked at the expert sign and saw the 2 for £3 is running until 29th july, which I see has been mentioned, and I'm sending out a plea for the two vouchers - I gave like 8 away to a new mum on here way before this offer happened, and haven't had a chance to try it yet :(
I have a No7 Summer Nails Kit to exchange if anyone has both vouchers, or loads of Olay and L'Oreal GWPs (not current I don't think) or the last No7 Ladies' GWP - please, I know it's an awesome offer but I do actually use this stuff myself...
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)

Yes, and how often do you have to have it done? And does it hurt?
