O2 and Nokia 6270 :(

I have 2 contracts with O2, one expired last month and I upgraded to the Sony Ericsson P910i, and the other one expired 3 months ago but I was holding out for the Nokia 6270 or 6280!

After speaking to an O2 manager yesterday and getting a second opinion from a mobile shop sales manager I have been reliably informed that they have now decided NOT to stock ANY of these phones (6270 or 6280).

So, if you are holding out for one, you better either pick a different phone or a different service provider!

Vodafone and T-Mobile are definitely going to stock it as far as I know and Orange are undecidied, don't know about 3 (as think they are the most useless SP I have ever used) I didn't bother to find out

They arent going to stock the 6280? DAMN! I was waiting for my contract to end so I could upgrade it to a 6280. I dont want to leave o2 either - may have no choice!!

i just spoke to an o2 person on the phone to see what phones were available to me as an upgrade. The chap asked me if i'd thought about the Nokia 6270. So maybe they are offering it now!

02 online had the 6270 as i managed to get one but i see from the site that its disappeared again, good thing about it is its unlocked i was holding off for a 6280 but after the release date getting shifted about i gave up and ordered the 6270 and very glad that i did.
