Here's mine
Saturday: Stir fry beef and beansprouts with noodles and hm fried rice
Sunday: fish, hg salad and new potatoes
Monday: pesto pasta with pine nuts and hm garlic bread
Tuesday: hg new potatoes, ham and hg salad
Wednesday: jacket potatoes with hm humous and hg salad
Thursday: chick pea and veg curry with brown rice

Sat - lunch: fishcakes with tin salmon and salad
tea: homemade lasagne and salad
Sun - lunch: roast chicken dinner
tea: HM lentil and bacon soup & asda 1/2 price rolls
Mon - Tuna pasta bake and left over salad
Tues - breaded chicken (1/2 price), chips or wedges, salad
Wed - Chicken pie with left over bird from Sun
Thurs - Sausage, gravy & mash either with veg or beans
Fri - Slurpy spagetti (ie spagetti with HM tomato sauce) garlic bread
Sat: Quisadillas (can't find spelling) - fried tortiall sandwiches with chicken (left from roast defrosted), cheese, bit of onion, tomato, whatever left
Salmon, noodles and some stir fry or oven baked veg depends what got left or have to buy
Sun: Chicken dinner
May be some muffins with scrambled egg0 -
I impulse bought a chicken at the butchers so this plan is not what it was going to be when I did the sainsburys shop yesterday. I need EASY this week, because I've suddenly got a deadline for revisions on an article and am working all weekend. I'm pleased - it's my third attempt to get this published - but I hadn't allocated time to do it, and it's gonna be tight.
Saturday: (children at party in early afternoon, not likely to be very hungry later) vegetable biryani (hm, the baked one from BBC Good Food), mint raita (hm) and peshawari naan (bought), tomato soup & toast for children
Sunday: pea soup from freezer for lunch, sandwiches for anyone who doesn't want it; roast chicken and vegetables for dinner [cook ham hock for DH's lunches during week, freeze some leftover chicken]
Monday: (lunch provided as at lunchtime seminar) leftover chicken, gravy & veg
Tuesday: ham & pea risotto using stock from the hock
Wednesday: lamb chops, tabbouleh, roasted tomatoes & asparagus
Thursday: sausages, mash, onion gravy, green beans, yorkshire puddings (not hm)

This is the first time I have put my menu on here.
its nothing spectacular:
Monday- something with the leftover beef from tomorrow's sunday dinner- maybe beef in black bean sauce (have a jar in the cupboard)
Tuesday- ham egg & chips (nice & simple)
Wednesday- HM pizza & salad
Thursday- Something from the freezer (start work earlier tonight) prob spag bol or lasange
Friday- lamb & aubergine stew with rice
Saturday- not sure yet!
Sunday- roast dinner (have lamb, beef & chicken in freezer but unsure which one we will be having yet)
nothing fancy there. oh likes to have lamb and aubergine at the end of the week as its his takeaway- he used to buy it from a kebab house near us, but he says mine tastes better2011- new year, new start.

Well baby still not arrived yet (due tomorrow :eek:)
So here are the meals we're having this week in no particular order depending what happens, and mum is flying up tomorrow to help out so will be her or hubby cooking them !!
Saturday: Hot Dogs and salad (ds's request)
Cannelloni bolognese (sauce in freezer)
Chilli and rice (chilli sauce in freezer)
Kebabs, cous cous and salad (kebabs in freezer, packet of flavoured cous cous)
HM Pizza (hubby does that really well mmm) & frozen wedges
Roast Pork (organic pork joint in freezer, reduced at asda) & Veggies
Toad in the hole & veggies
think thats it - and as soon as baby is here I'm having pate on toast, a HUGE prawn salad and liver and onions (perfectly cooked by my mum) !!! MMMMMMMMMM LOL0 -

All those meals look quite cheap to make TBH. The most expensive I would assume are the lamb shanks but you could get some cracking deals from the butcher.

Sun: Cottage Pie & Veg
Mon: Pasta with Bacon & Mushrooms in Tomato Sauce
Tue: My birthday, so out for sushi!
Wed: Chilli & Rice
Thu: Salmon, Potatoes & Veg

Well we had
Monday 7 July Shop bought steak pie, I done mash,brussels,peas and carrots. Pudding was shop bought apple struddle
Tuesday - Home made Lamb casserole with mushrooms and onions,potatoes,peas,broccoli,carrots.
pudding shop bought apple turn over cake each (had a bad day)
Wednesday - sausage,mash and beans, pudding - ice cream
Thursday - shop bought fish fillets, chips and beans pudding - fruit
Friday - roast pork,potatoes,broccoli,peas and cauliflower - pudding - fruit
Saturday (today) we had microwave meals, (chicken curry) as had been working in the garden all day
Sunday (tomorrow) roast chicken,potatoes,parsnips and mix veg - pudding ???
Next week menu is half done so far
Monday - pasta with home made butternut squash sauce - pudding home made fruit flan
Tuesday - home made shepperds pie,veg - pudding - ice cream
Wednesday - sausage casserole with a shop bought sauce (sausage sauce, I normally make my own) pudding _ rice pudding (home made)
Thursday - shop bought Faggots,mash and beans pudding - fruit cocktail
Friday - ?
saturday - ?
Sunday - roast
I used to do alot of processed cooking and now I am doing half and half as some day we need dinner early as kids have cubs/scouts and swimming.
