Agreed, though the disadvantage is that you can't simply backup changed files, you have to backup the entire container each time.

Very true. I suppose a solution would be to use multiple smaller containers. Probably not practical but considering the level of paranoia we're talking of here it's probably within reasonable effort. :)

Have 8gb I think and I dont know what total size I have there are around 10 documents at 141KB and the rest (around 1400 or so) all normal sized

Doesn't really tell you the total size....but it doesn't seem like a lot of data at all?
If they're all under one master folder, right-click > Properties and then read the total file size.
Buy 2 USB sticks, make a copy of all your data on each. Keep one in your office and take one home.
You can use incremental backup software to update the sticks with new files (or ones that that have been altered).
Backup the "office" one every night at close of business, backup the "home" one each week.

As I mentioned in the other backup thread BT do an online backup software. It is included with their 'total broadband' package or you can get it separately with a higher storage capacity.

Thanks for reminding me. I've added it to the sticky. Don't know why I forgot that one. But then there are quite a few available.
