Hi all,
Thanks for all the help in the past with my central heating woes!
I will be moving into my new house soon and have decided to go "au naturel"!
So a wood/multifuel burner stove is needed.
Now the property has a lpg gas back boiler which I will rip out and have a plumber mate to help me with my wood burner.
I have found this on ebay, which I like the look of (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=370065003697&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=024) but i have never heard of the brand, so I am weary of how to get spares.
The other was a Arrow Stratford seb20 (http://www.stovesareus.co.uk/catalog/aarrow-eco-boiler-seb20-multifuel-woodburning-boiler-stove-p-4919.html)
I think I have worked out that the house needs around 35000btu. Its running 7 rads (may extend later) and the water is on electric immersion, so they should both do the job fine.
They are both around the same price so what do people think?

Hi Nath
I'm not sure about the makes of boiler shown either but they are completly different in apperance which might affect you choice? Also if you are considering using this as your only source of heating you should also consider something like Solar to provide you with hot water in the summer as electrically heated hot water will be very expensive in the long term.0 -
ta for the reply.
Yes they are completely different, but they are the only 2 that are quite modern looking (apart from firebelly stoves but they are way expensive).
As im only heating 7 rads i may be able to run the tank aswell.
I have heard that solar may not be the cheapest and tbh there is so many trees covering 2 sides i dont think it would get much light.0
