K800i texting problems- what do I do?
I opened a new 18 month contract with 3 mobile through onestopphoneshop about 3 months ago. I got the K800i phone which I like fine- except about 4 days ago something weird happened... I picked up my phone, & it was on a blank screen (not normal). It wouldn't turn off so I took out the battery & restarted it.
Since then I haven't been able to send or receive texts. Also, there is a glitch on the menu graphics (not something I'm concerned about, except that it's evidence of some sort of fault).
I called 3 which was of course no help at all and a big waste of time. I don't want to call them again. What should I do to get the problem fixed? I've done a master reset on the phone, and a software update to no avail.
Should I take it to Carphone Warehouse (they own onestopphoneshop)? Will they exchange it or fix it? Or do I HAVE to call 3? All I use the phone for is texting so it's useless as it is.

You can. Don't hold your breath for a quick repair unless you take it to an express service center - and don't hold your breath for a successful repair. After three failed attenmpts they will, however, offer you a refurbished replacement. You only need to take the phones and battery. No paperwork or anything else is necessary.0
