You will also note that easyJet website has place for Middle Names just First Name and surname... so they have no facility for you to add a 'middle name'
The only problem you would come across if the surname was a double barrelled like Smith-Jones and you missed off the Smith!0 -
you don't need to put a middle name on the booking.
as i have advised before on here i really don't understand why people add middle names .....all this does is increases the chance of making a mistake and getting whacked for charges from the airline0 -
I doubt ive ever used my middle name when sorting flights out. I remember a fews year back i booked my daughter as Abigail Claire and on the booking it came up as AbigailClaire (no space) and when i queiried Virgin they told me their system doesnt recognise a space and that so long as the name was spelt correctly there is no issue.0

I haven't got a middle name, so can't enter one.
I've never been asked at check-in what it isIt's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0 -
I work for a travel agent and we book amongst others, easyjet and we are told never to put middle names in as the airlines dont want or need them and were starting to charge us for a name change to take them out and we were threatened to be charged ourselves if we didnt take heed....
I would say though when you put the apis info in, to put the middle name though.
I always say when i book for people, I need your first name and surname only as this is for the flight ticket and 9 out of 10 say ok it is susan michell smith etc...grrrrrrrrrrr0 -
I had to put middle names in for my booking as dd and i have the same first name and surname ( we both use our second names)0
-
just as a matter of interest why did you have to do this ?beautifulgorgeous wrote: »I had to put middle names in for my booking as dd and i have the same first name and surname ( we both use our second names)0 -
I dont know why either....u frequently have passengers with the same name so, you are the same party, most likely one mrs and one miss, but even if both miss etc then it should not matter.
used to do jet airways check in and frequently have 60 people with the same surname and people would often have the same first names, but people had their locator numbers and ticket numbers to identify the right passengers etc.0
