Combi Boiler problem

I've a GlowWorm Flexicom 30x boiler which is about two years old. It's developed a problem where the hot water will run at the desiered temp for a minute or so and then will cool down. It doesn't cool to cold. It seems to be mainly in the 1st floor bathroom where we had a new mixer shower installed a few months ago, but it has been working fine until last Friday. It seems to be fine in the kitchen unless the water flow is very high. Anyone any ideas as to what the problem could be? Thanks.

Is the hot water setting on the boiler turned to maximum? When we had our upstairs shower installed, the water ran hot for a while and then ran cold, turned out we didn't have the hot water setting on high enough for the water demand of the shower.

Depending on your boiler type, there may be a small resevoir of hot water (our Camray has 8 litres), but once that's used, the boiler can't heat up the water quickly enough to keep up with the flow, hence it cools down.

Check your instruction booklet for the boiler, if you've not got one, get in touch with the manufacturer and ask for a copy.
