I'd like Free O2 sims - NOT the online w/ 300 txts!

I'm trying to persuade the family to move to o2, but I have a couple of members who aren't big mobile users, and wouldn't benefit from the £10/mth o2 Online PAYG tariff with the 300 txts, etc.

So, I'm after standard o2 PAYG sim cards, free if poss. Having searched this forum and also the o2 site itself, nothing's proved fruitful.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

TIA

You dont have top up the free online ones every month. They can be used as normal PAYG sim cards!!!
The first month you will get whatever free allowance you choose.Plus you get to keep the £10 to spend at your leisure. The next time you top up say in 4/5 months time you get another months free allowance plus the £10 to spend.
As long as you make one call every 6 months the £1O could last a long time to a low user. Also dont forget you get £2.50 free for registering and a free extra pound on your first top of £10, so you get £13.50 to get you started.

Yeah, you've definitely got nothing to lose by using the online SIM. If you don't top up in any particular month, you don't get the free texts or calls - but when you do, you do !!!

Also, I don't know why they call them "online SIMs" as this implies you can only top up online, but in fact they come with a top up swipe card so you can top up in the normal way.

    Thanks!

I was under the impression that there was some form of limit on the online PAYG sims.... I thought I'd read that you had to topup every 3mths or something at the very least. Maybe I lie...

I have quite a few of the freebie ones sat at home at the moment from an earlier freebie quest, so I can give those out... I doubt that my grandmother (one of the recipients) would be able to get through £13.50 in a year, let alone a month you see!

    Cheers
