I don't know whether I'm in the right thread or not but Mr T does frequent use shampoo at 30p for quite a large bottle and it's fab! Mr T's Pro V conditioner is excellent too and is only 54p. I never use anything else now. My hair is bleached blonde and it's perfect for it.0

Lidl shower gel is 13p (clear cien one, suitable for male and female). We get through loads of shower gel why pay more?
At first I just used it to dilute Other halfs avon shower gel we bought via a special offer tip on here, which i keep in a pump-action showergel dispensor (because i tended to leave the lid off and loads goes down the drain.) you can operate these one handed.
You could gradually convert your other half to less expensive tastes this way .Sneakily.Shower gel or shampoo dispensor can be bought at Wilkinsons for example, though I confess i bought mine from Muji (you can get them white non see through, or clear)0 -
I also buy Asda's Smartprice sauce which I think is about 24p and decant it into a branded bottle. It's just as tasty and the kids haven't sussed me yet!;)0

This is fun when you end up with two different colours! People often ask me where they can get a pair of tights with two different coloured legs like mine...:rotfl:
My Mum used to do this for us all the time - and i never thought anything of it - @ 21 i still do this even tho my friends think im wierd - dosent bother me one bit - hehe (**** I wonder if she still does this for the twins lol:rotfl: )Newbie! :j (ish)

I used to charge my mobile using a usb cable at work. Although it charged okay my battery lasted less than a year, and cost me £30 to replace, so not a cheap option in the end. My OH now has same phone as me, so I leave one charger at home and keep one at work :-)Married 19th May 2011 to the love of my lifeCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44CSC Challenge - to complete LEGS by end of December

Women's haircuts vary from £7ish for a dry cut to £20+ for a 'cut and blow dry'. Since shorter styles need trimming every six weeks or less, you could buy a lot of shampoo for the cost of a trim. Maybe we should all learn to trim each other's hair?
Hear, Hear! We have an ancient set of Wahl hair and beard clippers from back when OH was an undercut anarchist and they're never out of action! OH gets a number 2 allover every four weeks, I get 'skinhead girl' shortback and sides with a big fringe I thin myself with thinning scissors from Asda - £3.99 - DS gets number 4 allover while I trim DDs long hair myself. And as Live Colour has finally produced a decent peroxide home hair-bleaching kit for around four quid, I don't have to spend £50 every two months getting my roots done anymore!0 -

I'm exactly the same! DH & DS get no.2 back & sides with no.5 top. DD has curly hair so nobody notices if I trim it bit wonky! I get my sister to colour my hair and go for a trim every 3 months (£7.50 for dry trim or £15 for wet trim & blowdry if I'm feeling flush!)0 -
