Yes I noticed this too. In fact it was even stranger - when I tried Martin's link for the £15 it showed up London Energy as my cheapest just like all the others. When I went back to it about 2 hrs later it had changed to Npower as my cheapest and London Energy Online was nowehere to be seen.
I uses energyhelpline.com in the end.
Edit - just realised the first time I tried simply switch it wasn't through Martin's link, it was via a google search for simply switch. Obviously they don't want to give us cashback on this deal.0

This is only what I have been told by EDF themselves.
As I live in Brum there are no EDF companies as my local distribution company, my local distribution is Central Networks, so can use any brand of EDF.
However in London, London Energy are the local distribution company, so if you want to use EDF, then you need to use London Energy as the other brands don't cover areas where EDF already have a local presence. Same goes for other regions.
Again this is what I was told by EDF.
But it does appear, as you live in a SWEB area, you have managed to use their other brand. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

I'm thinking of switching to London Energy but when I go on to their website I can't see a link for managing your account online. It's supposed to be an online tariff so if anyone is with London Energy can you tell me how you manage your account please?0

I am in the process of switching to them from Powergen. They have a scheme where you can register online and enter your meter readings online each month so that you get a more accurate bill.0

 All done from here.

I can't tell you about it as I've only just applied to change over.0

Thanks jem16, I'll go ahead and switch now. Hope their customer service record is good.0

Have been with London Energy since March, they've saved me significant money over what I was paying Powergen (both dual-fuel online tariffs), and their online service is good, except you need to use three different numbers they give you to access it, all of which you can't change and are impossible to memorise (e.g. 'username' is 13 numbers, passcode 6 nos, and pin 4 nos). Also, you can't change direct debit amounts yourself if you think you're en route for big overspend or underspend (you could do this with PowerGen, which was useful). However, I always get the impression of chaos, and that they're quite likely to apply the wrong tariff or do something else wrong - they need watching, but the callcentre staff are really friendly, even when you're pointing out mistakes to them.0

The call centre staff are really good, and UK based too which is one of the reasons I switched. I too was with PowerGen but their call centre staff are now useless and mostly based in India - yet at one time their customer service was excellent.
PowerGen were the cheapest for me for quite a long time, but then with the last few increases EDF (Sweb) were cheapest and UK customer service, so I switched currently on their Pre-March online tariff.
