I was lucky enough to win one as well and having just been there with my three children by paying £66 and topping up with clubcard deals I was really excited. Then I looked at the dates and realised that I would have to take the children out of school. Not really an option as the youngest is just staring school. Not wishing to sound ungrateful, but think it is a bit of a con to get rid of holidays which are less likely to be filled. Has anyone had any joy booking a holiday during school holiday times?0

not a great idea taking kids out of school but you are allowed if you ask the school first and fill in a holiday request form. You are allowed two weeks each year out of school.
I've had to do it in past when money was (still is) tight.lots of small stepswill get you a long waybsc 1400 -
My dd will also be in full time education by the time we go next year. Dh should of just got back from deployment and will hopefully be on pre-op leave for our holiday date (fingers crossed:rotfl: ) so hope the school will be more than understanding about us wishing to take a short holiday together.0
