I have been really really stupid!
A few months ago I ordered a box of Cadburys Roses from Studio Cards, they were on offer or something so I thought why not.
Anyway, when I got my chocolates I got an invoice for them and was slightly more expensive than I thought-but that isn't important.
I am pretty unreliable when it comes to paying things so I let it go and the following month I was charged £20 on top of the original price. THen another £20 and another and another. In total I am owe Studio £93 for a box of chocolates
So I have been ignoring the demands trying to figure a way of getting myself out of this !!!! and this morning received a phonecall from a company that is now dealing with it, I forget what they are called. So if being stupid wasn't enough I then said I have no knowledge of ordering anything from Studio and she said they couldn't tell me what it was that I ordered as they didn't know. She said they are going to file this as fraud because "someone" has used your details.
What on earth should I do, and what should I expect to happen next?
Please don't tell me I have been stupid, I KNOW! lol

My advice would be to ring them and tell them you have just realsied what you ordered and then pay up if you can or this will only get worse. If you can't pay come to some arrangement for installments. Better to face this now in my opinion or it won't be worth the stress for you if it goes on any longer and then amount keeps going up too! Sorry I couldn't tell you a way to get out of it but I think you should face this and sort it and you wwill feel better.
Good luck

Thanks very much.
The thing is I don't know who the debt has been passed to. Should I call Studio?0 -
Sounds like the £20 is some sort of club you joined0

Send Studio a cheque for the invoice amount for the chocolates (do not pay any silly late payment charges). Include a letter stating that this is full and final payment and that no further correspondance will be entered into.I have been really really stupid!

Really? Would this not have an impact on the OPs credit rating?0 -
Note sure on credit rating but I think the idea is that if the accept the cheque and said it was full and finally settlement and they cashed it they couldn't come back to you fro more0

Right, just got off the phone and spoke to a jumped up woman who not only questioned my income and out goings but was outraged by how much I was paying for xy and z.
I told her I would pay £10 per month but she said Studio wont accept this. So she took an expenditure from me etc. I am fuming with her tone and manner, who the hell do these people think they are telling me what I should and shouldn't be spending on FOOD of all things!
Thanks for the other responses re late charges, I may just go down this route instead, I got all my bank charges back last year so here's hoping.0
