There's that or I could come to you or you could come to me ~ a good plan though either way!!
I'm bearing up, its the funeral today so I'm really not prepared for that but know that it needs to happen.

I know that what I say won't make much sense at the moment.. I know I wa just numb and on autopilot for at least 6 months after my mum died. But the funeral will help. Sounds daft but it's not about saying goodbye really... it's about knowing that your mum will now be with you wherever you are.. and not just 'at home' or 'at the shops'. Although you won't see her physically... you'll always have her with you wheter you're aware of it or not. I still get little clues every now and then that mum is watching over me. Hard to explain... but whenever I'm having a down day or thinking of her... something will happen that'll make me stop and think 'Mum did that'. You know? Just little things that I always associate with her...
For example the new years eve after she died we had a party at ours. On the stroke of midnight one of her old bells which you wind up and played a little song and hadn't worked for years, all of a sudden started playing, completely on it's own.
I'm a big believer that no matter where you are, death is just like a gap until you see them again. They're aren't gone... they're just somewhere else waiting for you to be reunited.
Take each day as it comes hun. It's the hardest thing you can ever go through and for me it still hurts nearly 3 years on. The pain will ease, but the memories will last a lifetime and remember her as the healthy wonderful person she was, rather than what she was under the disease.
Sending massive hugs and I'm always around if you ever want to vent or chat to someone who's been through the same thing hun.
