thanks for your replies
do the compatible ones have any guarantee on themWhat goes around-comes around0 -
It seems frustrating to search out Cheap Reliable Ink Catridges. I'm looking for cheap Ink Catridges for my relatively new Epson SX600FW. Now theres a huge difference in price between Compatible catridges and genuine ones. Wondering how reliable the Compatible ones are and whether I should risk getting those? At the same time dont want to mess up my new printer/scanner/copier etc.
Any suggestions/feedback? Much appreciated0 -

What a load of complete and utter garbage people talk on here about printers,
when a printer goes faulty and has compat cartridges fitted they say the cartridges have bust my printer,
when a printer goes faulty and has originals fitted they just say the printer has gone faulty mmmmm
i have sold printer and cartridges for years and compat cartridges DONT BREAK PRINTERS but printers do go faulty when compat cartridges are fitted and when originals are,
take the epson sx115 printer at argos at the moment it is £40 a set of original TO711/2/3/4 cartridges will cost £24, a set of compat cartridges will cost less than £6 that is a saving of £18 per set so when you have bought 4 sets of cartridges you have saved £54 so why the hell do people jump up and down when there printer goes bust after using 4 or 5 sets of compat cartridges you have saved more than enough to buy a new printer and still be better off than if you had bought genuine cartridges, thats not forgetting that if you buy the right compat cartridges they have 3 times the amount of ink in them to the originals so 4 sets of compats is equel to 12 sets of originals in ink quantity
DONT BLAME THE PRINTER GOING BUST ON THE COMPAT CARTRIDGE FITTED
printers do go bust they are a consumable commodity.

so youre syaing its not the ink but then say well if it breaks just buy another one? why would you want to buy another printer every year
also the manufacturer does state if u use compatibles your warranty will be void so youre stuffed anyway if it goes wrong first time u use some that arent approvedWhat goes around-comes around0 -

They cant invalidate you warranty if you use compats, or when you buy a printer keep the originals and use compats straight away then IF it goes faulty you can put the originals back in the machine.

It’s not the compatible cartridges that damage the printer it’s the lack of use. Nozzles in the print head that are about 2 microns in size and ink that’s designed to dry on contact it’s a recipe for disaster. If you want to keep your printer use it on a regular basis my Epson r200 printer has been going for over 7 years now on compatible cartridges.0
