Looking back over this thread I find there is very little commentary on the quality & reliability of the inks provided. For what it's worth I've tried https://www.pdkink.co.uk and https://www.choicestationery.co.uk following recommendations from this forum. I purchased an Epson R200 and used up the first set of inks. As and when they needed replacing I inserted compatibles from Choice Stationery and as those ones ran out I inserted replacements from PDK Ink. I've never been able to compare identicle prints between original Epson cartridges and either of the above, but have to say the resulting photographs look fine to my untrained eye regardless of which of the above companies I use.
I have, however, experienced two problems. As I say, I've only used one set of original Epson cartridges and one set of compatibles each from Choices & PDK, so the printer is hardly overworked, but it's hard to say whether the problem is with the printer or the inks. Firstly, I've recently experienced a sustained period of the inks dribbling all over the printout. This happens randomly, but seems to be more when I print more than one image in any given session (whether photograph or regular document on plain paper). Also, I've experienced the same problem as reported elsewhere, where one of the cartridges was not recognised by the printer. I'm afraid I don't know which carts were being used when either of these problems occurred, but just thought I'd add my experience to the pot in case anybody else can contribute and spot a pattern. As I say, there is no way of knowing whether this is a printer problem or an issue with the compatible cartridges.0 -

Found these on EBay. This is the link:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6796505132&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
If the link doesn't work , log on to EBAY - Buy - then type in Item No. 6796505132. They state they have been selling ink carts. for 5 years and never had any problems. Must be the cheapest deal yet.

Thanks for the tip off. Same seller is doing them at same price but now with free postage."Whatever happened to string?"0 -
Just to follow up on the above post, I ordered 3 sets (21 cartridges) and they arrived two days later. Good service. Only minor gripe is that the carts are vac sealed in a white plastic pack with a clear window in one corner presumably so you can see what colour the cart is. However not one of the carts had been packed in the right postion to see which is which!"Whatever happened to string?"0
