I know someone who purchased a house and the seller not only took all the light fittings and bulbs but even took the backup battery from the boiler timer.

At the end of the day you took out a mortgage for the land and bricks n mortar not the additions that you have added to the house since you purchased it.

I am currently going through repossession and will strip the house bare when I leave. I would rather throw stuff away or give it to strangers than let the mortgage company have any benefit with how unhelpful they have been throughout my bankruptcy.
  • right.. is this going too far then? would you take the conservatory? or advertise it on ebay and sell it and board over the patio door hole? or is this one step beyond ?.....

and did anyone really take the bathroom out with them?
  • so did anyone take the bathroom suite really? or no-one want to admit it LOL
