    Hi Dalip,

I've only just seen this post :o so sending some belated well wishes to you!

I'm sorry you were having a few down days and are feeling quite poorly today, it's probably all this stress doing you no favours!

As everyone else has already said, you are such a rock to others on here and always offer such good, honest advice and really do care for others. It's great to see you getting some of that support back. :D

I hope you feel better soon, and that things start to turn around for you, you deserve it!

You have been a fanatastic help to me since I joined this site and hope you continue to be lol :rotfl: (- I meant continue to be so upbeat and helpful to everyone not just me!!)

    Thanks molly.

Yes feeling better today. Not got much enthusiasm for work but know it's last bit of money we will be earning for a few wks so have no choice but to go.

Not that anybody will find this interesting but had a txt from a old work mate yesterday and they were saying that where we worked before(me 11yrs,DH 17yrs)is loosing orders and everyone is miserable.I always said that OH helped build that place up so much,he was excellent at his job. So we were not suprised to hear that morale(spelling correct thanks to max)is low and so are orders. What goes around comes around:D

Well take care everyone, will catch up later ater work.D

    Hi Dalip,

Oh well, looks like we might be in the boat! The company I work for sent out letters yesterday saying that they are Re-aligning some stores in the company, one of them mine and there looks like they are going to reduce most peoples hours or make them redundant, then the people that are left will get told what hours they have to work. Usually all the rubbish one's lol...

Wont know what's happening to me for a few weeks, but I bet the people at the top wont be getting rid of their mercs, posh lunches in hotels or staying in 5 star hotels when they have meetings or their golf weekends away!!!

What's happening to Britain? it seems to be going down hill, it's a nightmare!
Me before I found this forum  And me after going through BR with everyone's help :j

It is a shame, and I think its going to get a lot worst before it gets better im afraid. Theres talk of recession on the news, and the house builders (barrat, persimmons etc) have laid of 100s of employees already this will have a knock on effect. I think everyone will have to hold on tight, and weather the storm!!!!

Well i would not be surprised that if things carry on the way they are going in this country that this part of the forum becomes the biggest in the world. The the banks will be crying out for BR's to take accounts with them or they will have no customers and like someone else said on here "what goes around comes around"

40% of the workforce - Barratts etc - that's what was on the news last night. Unbelievable. k2nga, I hope you're right about the banks. An alternative idea might be to bring back debtors prisons, so they can employ all the people Barratts have laid off to build places for the likes of thee and me!
